EIM (Enterprise Information Management): development, protection and extension of coherent information assets that are aligned with business needs.

Over the past ten years, the logic governing information systems development has led to the installation of application silos, to information partitioning and to substantial costs whenever upgrades, adaptation or solutions were required. EIM (Enterprise Information Management) is a whole new way of looking at the information system and its evolution.

Through the operational implementation of the EIM concept, Business & Decision promises to:

  • Create flexibility within the information system

  • Adhere to a consolidation logic for the various information system components

  • Pool business information and services

  • Reduce the information system's upgrade and maintenance costs, while capitalising as much as possible on the existing system

Business & Decision has established four practices to facilitate this offering:

  • Business information repositories management (for Master Data Management, MDM) and rules repositories management (for Business Rules Management, BRM), data governance and data quality management
  • Operational security management (for Identity Access Management, IAM ), risk management and security within processes (for Governance, Risk & Compliance, GRC)
  • Enterprise content management (ECM) and advanced information search (Enterprise Search)
  • Process management (for Business Process Management, BPM) and management of underlying services-oriented information architectures (for Service Oriented Architecture, SOA)
